Van Horn High School and Chrisman High School have the chance to play ball at Kauffman Stadium
For many members of the William Chrisman and Van Horn baseball team, the opportunity to play on a professional baseball field someday has been a childhood dream.
This spring, for the varsity Bears and Falcons, that childhood dream will become a reality. Chrisman will play Van Horn on March 26 at 4 p.m. at the Royals' Kauffman Stadium.
Before the Bears and Falcons can take the field, they must also promote the game and sell vouchers to Royals games.
The two teams must sell 2,000 total vouchers (1,000 each) for the opportunity to play at Kauffman.
Field Box tickets (normally $39) can be purchased for $17, and Hy-Vee Outfield seats (normally $13) can be purchased for $10. Some games are blacked out.
The discounted tickets can be purchased from players or coaches or you can buy online.
You may also can call the schools for more information on how to purchase the tickets.
