Jenny Johnson Nurse at Sunshine Center is named Classified Employee of the Year

All 33 Independence School District Classified Employees of the Year have been honored.

Jenny Johnson, Nurse at Sunshine Center, was named the district’s 2013-2014 Classified Employee of the Year.

Geneva “Jenny” Johnson is the nurse at Sunshine Center.  She was nominated and elected by her peers as the building’s

Classified Employee of the Year due to the tireless giving of her time, energy and resources for the benefit of Sunshine

Center students, families and staff.  Her ongoing commitment to the school community is inspiring!

Jenny was selected by a panel of judges from the Independence community.
