Chrisman DECA Qualifies Three For State Competition

Chrisman-logo-small91Thanks to a strong showing at districts, three William Chrisman DECA students qualified for state competition later this year. DECA is a global organization encouraging business and entrepreneurial development. Four other Chrisman students were alternate medal winners.

Frank Cotter qualified for state by placing first in Entrepreneurship and second in Personal Selling and Jacob Black and Carmen Niutili qualified by finishing second in Financial Services Team Decision Making. Medal alternates are: Chris Redmond – Hospital and Tourism Selling – fifth place, Kaleb Mahurin – Automotive Services Marketing – seventh place and Patrick Grego and Paris Sutcliffe – Sports and Entertainment Marketing Research – sixth place.

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges worldwide.
