Truman Relay For Life Set for March 13-14

canSeveral events highlight Truman High School’s Relay For Life observance March 13-14. Relay For Life is an American Cancer Society fundraiser created to aid the fight against the often-deadly disease.

“I know we all know someone battling this awful disease or we may know some people who have beat it,” said Angie Zarrillo, family and consumer science (FACS) teacher and organizer of Truman’s Relay For Life effort, “and the students, especially those on the student council, have been working long and hard to prepare this event for our school and community.”

Events during the two days include a survivor’s dinner and a silent auction. Money raised goes directly to the American Cancer Society. For more information or if interested in volunteering or participating, go to:
