For the Missouri Mavericks, the ‘Goal’ is Character Development

For the ECHL’s Missouri Mavericks, scoring goals are no problem. But off the ice, goals are important too. That’s why Mavs players regularly visit ISD schools and speak to students about character and character development. Each month during the school year, every ISD school inspires lives of integrity by choosing a staff and student of character- each month featuring a different character trait.

Players say they really enjoy speaking and interacting with ISD students about the importance of character and students say it is fun to have the Mavs come to their class. To learn more, watch this video.
