Truman Homecoming October 2, 2015 at 7 p.m.

You can buy tickets at Truman High School in the front office, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and noon. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children.

We expect large crowds so we hope you will arrive early to help ease traffic congestion and allow you to get a seat at Truman Stadium.

Please carpool!

Please feel free to bring lawn chairs and blankets as there will not be enough seating for all in attendance.

Gates open at 5 p.m.

Parking will be allowed in the lot to the East and South of Truman High School.  That includes about 800 parking spaces which will likely not be enough to accommodate the large crowd.

The Independence School District will be providing free shuttle busing service. This will be provided from Kmart (off I-70 and Noland Road), Sycamore Hills Elementary (15208 East 39th St. S., Independence, MO 64055) and Christ United Methodist Church (14506 East 39th St. S., Independence, MO 64055).

Shuttles will begin at 5 p.m. and will go directly from each location to Truman High School’s front circle drive.  Shuttles will run from 5-7 p.m. and for one hour after the game.  Police and security will patrol these lots.  Golf carts can shuttle anyone who needs assistance between that circle drive and Truman Stadium behind the school.

Please do not park in non-shuttle business lots (such as Walmart).  They will tow at their discretion.

Do not park on 35th Street, Hocker, or other “no-parking” areas. Police will tow.  Again, please take advantage of the free shuttle service.

Separate ticket entrances for those who pre-purchased tickets will provide faster entrance into Truman Stadium.

Truman High School will be open during the game to allow access to restrooms.

The Booster Club and Chick-fil-A will have multiple locations around the game to sell food and drinks.

After the game, be aware that all cars exiting the parking lots will exit onto 35th Street to ease traffic congestion and for safety.  Multiple IPD officers will be directing traffic.

We will have extra police and security on hand as we want this to be a positive experience.

Thanks for supporting ISD Schools, Truman High School and for making this a positive experience for all involved. Go Patriots!  Follow the link below to a video about this exciting event…
