Congratulations JROTC Cadets

Congratulations to JROTC cadets from Truman, Van Horn and William Chrisman as they completed their Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) at Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, Missouri this week. The 342 cadets from 23 schools across the area tackled leadership challenges and developed management skills.
The five day camp included rappelling a 40 foot tower, completing an obstacle course, water survival skills, canoeing, military water craft operations, first aid and a leadership reaction course all designed to challenge and develop these youth leaders. These cadets will return to their schools and homes with higher self-esteem, motivation and leadership abilities. They developed new friendships and made lasting memories.
