ISD Students Explore Science with Augmented Reality

Posted April 20, 2018

Students at William Southern explored three-dimensional science through Google Expeditions. The Google Expeditions AR Pioneer Program brings science to life by using augmented reality to generate objects before students’ very eyes. Teachers in grades K-5 led their expeditions by choosing from categories corresponding to classroom lessons, allowing students to use a mobile device to immerse themselves in natural disasters, types of energy and event insects. The entire experience is designed to supplement subjects students learned in the classroom.
