ISD Students Explore Science with Augmented Reality
Students at William Southern explored three-dimensional science through Google Expeditions. The Google Expeditions AR Pioneer Program brings science to life by using augmented reality to generate objects before students’ very eyes. Teachers in grades K-5 led their expeditions by choosing from categories corresponding to classroom lessons, allowing students to use a mobile device to immerse themselves in natural disasters, types of energy and event insects. The entire experience is designed to supplement subjects students learned in the classroom. Click here to take a closer look at the excitement inside fourth grade classrooms.
