Breakfast and Lunch Served this Summer in the ISD

Thanks to a federally funded program coordinated through the Independence School District Nutrition Services Department, children and teenagers have the opportunity to receive free school breakfasts and lunches on weekdays this summer.  The meals will be offered at 13 ISD school sites from May 29 – June 29.

Here is a list of schools serving meals, including times:

Bridger – Breakfast 7:10-8:10, Lunch 11:00-1:00

Pioneer Ridge – Breakfast 7:10-8:10, Lunch 11:00-1:00

Truman – Breakfast 7:30-8:30, Lunch 11:15-12:15

William Chrisman – Breakfast 7:45-8:45, Lunch 11:00-1:00

Benton – Breakfast 7:50-8:50, Lunch 11:00-1:00

Ott – Breakfast 7:50-8:50, Lunch 11:00-1:00

Santa Fe Trail – Breakfast 7:50-8:50, Lunch 11:00-1:00

Van Horn – Breakfast 8:00-9:00, Lunch 11:00-12:00

Korte – Breakfast 8:45-9:45, Lunch 11:00-1:00

Spring Branch – Breakfast 8:45-9:45, Lunch 11:00-1:00

Sycamore Hills – Breakfast 8:45-9:45, Lunch 11:00-1:00

Three Trails – Breakfast 8:45-9:45, Lunch 11:00-1:00

Mallinson – Breakfast 8:45-9:45, Lunch 11:00-1:00

Meals will be served five days a week (Benton, Bridger, Korte, Mallinson, Pioneer and Santa Fe Trail will be closed on Fridays).  Truman, William Chrisman and Van Horn will be closed on Friday, June 29. All meals must be served within the time periods listed and must be consumed on site.

Glendale, Korte, Little Blue and Sycamore will be open July 2 – August 8 (closed July 4).
