High School Summer Success
High School Summer Success begins on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 and runs Monday-Friday from May 29 to June 28 at William Chrisman High School. This is for students entering grades 9-12 at all three ISD high schools. Breakfast and lunch are included each day of Summer Success at no cost.
You do not need to provide any school supplies for your student unless their teacher expresses a need directly to parents in a specific class.
Summer Success transportation will be provided for students who qualify and registered for transportation services during online enrollment by May 9th. Bus routes and stops may differ from those used during the regular school year. Parents are encouraged to escort their child to and from the bus stop. Transportation cannot be guaranteed during the first week of Summer Success for students enrolled after May 9th.
Buses will run as close as possible to the published schedule. Please be aware that the first few days are a period of adjustment and delays are possible. Our drivers are checking rosters and getting acquainted with students to ensure the safest and most efficient routes.
You can help keep routes on time by doing the following:
- Make sure your student is at the bus stop on time and ready to go.
- Take photos and/or say goodbye prior to the bus arriving. If parents take their student photo at each bus stop, that delay adds up.
- Please do not stop the driver to ask questions or to chat.
- Please call the Transportation Department at 816-521-5335 if you have questions.
