Unit 1: Review of French I & II
- Review and use the French alphabet.
- Count and use numbers through 100.
- Use common greetings and goodbyes.
- Introduce oneself and others.
- Ask and answer common classroom questions.
- Use dates and calendar vocabulary.
- Review and apply the verbs être (to be), avoir (to have), aller (to go), and faire (to do/to make).
- Review and conjugate regular -ER verbs.
- Review and apply past tense structures.
Unit 2: On fait la fête! (French Celebrations)
- Identify and use holiday and party vocabulary.
- Review and apply chore vocabulary.
- Explore Bastille Day vocabulary and traditions.
- Analyze the causes and impact of the French Revolution.
- Examine the significance of La Marseillaise.
- Explore France's role in World War I.
- Use direct object pronouns and indirect object pronouns correctly.
- Apply the pronoun y in speaking and writing.
Unit 3: Paris
- Identify and use metro and transportation vocabulary.
- Explore major monuments and landmarks in Paris.
Unit 4: Daily Routine
