The following learning targets represent the major concepts studied and assessed in this course.

Semester 1

Unit 1: Designing

• Apply information from scripts to design scenery, props, costumes, make-up, and lighting
• Use evidence to support design choices

Unit 2: Producing

• Use appropriate tools for assigned projects
• Follow all safety guidelines when using tools
• Apply techniques for creating scenery, props, costumes, make-up, and lighting effects

Unit 3: Professionalism

• Complete projects within budget and by due dates
• Reflect upon and question artistic choices
• Demonstrate focus, collaboration, and incorporation of ideas during production
