AMI Day Schedule
What is an AMI Day?
An Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) Day allows students to learn from home when school is closed due to weather or emergencies. Students will complete learning activities through Canvas to be counted as “present.” AMI days would start on the 6th day school is closed due to weather or emergencies.

How to Log On
- Students will use Canvas to access lessons and Google Meet links.
- Teachers will post the day’s schedule and meeting links by 9:00 AM.
What Students Will Need
Attendance
Students are counted present if they:
- Attend the synchronous session or submit the AMI class assignment prior to the start of their next in-person class with that teacher.
Communication
- Teachers will email all their students through Canvas on the AMI day with the assignment to be completed prior to their next in-person class with that teacher.
