Van Horn Teacher Honored with STEM Award
Congratulations to Van Horn teacher Debbie Cox, recipient of the 2016 WiSTEMM Educator Award for her incredible work helping young women in STEM. Her amazing work with students has even been highlighted by Will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas and at the White House Science Fair which included a meeting with President Obama.
Mill Creek Celebrates International Walk to School Day
Hundreds from Mill Creek Elementary joined together for International Walk to School Day this week. Fox 4 News reported from the walk and it was very special to see so many students, parents, teachers and community members come together.
