The ISD Summer Success program allows students in grades K-12 to participate in summer
classes.

Summer Success for students going into Kindergarten through 8th grade

Details

For kindergarten through eighth grade students, Summer Success runs June 1st through June 30th on a
four day schedule, Monday through Thursday with the exception of Friday, June 3rd. June 3rd will be an attendance day. For more information, including transportation options and before and after care please check out our brochure (en español)!

Out-of-district Students

Out-of-district students in grades K-8 wishing to attend Summer Success with the Independence School District will complete the online enrollment application.

Please note: Students enrolled after May 6th may not receive a bus pass until after the start of Summer Success.

Out-of-district Students

Out-of-district students in grades 9-12 wishing to attend Summer Success with the
Independence School District should contact the Summer School office at 816-521-5508.

High School Summer Success registration is now closed. Students needing credit recovery need to contact your high school counselor.


Summer Athletics

The ISD has many opportunities for students to participate in athletics over the summer.

Summer Youth Athletic Camps for students going into grades 3 through 8

Any district student interested in the offered sessions can sign up to participate. All sessions take place after Summer Success, so students can do both. Please note, no transportation services are provided for Summer Athletic Camps.

Summer Athletics for students going into grades 9 through 12

Any district student interested in the offered sessions can sign up to participate. Students who want to participate in Summer Success can also do a Summer Athletic Session by doing one session of each. Session 1 runs from 7:30am-10:35am. Session 2 runs from 10:35am-1:50pm. Your sport may have other events outside of the information listed here. Please contact the coach or High School Athletic Department for more information
