William Chrisman Duo Qualifies For Rare Double

When William Chrisman’s Sarah Daniel and Tim Paxton took first place in Business Ethics at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Contest in Springfield, it qualified them for their second national final this school year. Not only will the seniors participate in the FBLA nationals, the duo also earned a trip earlier this year to the nationals in debate and competitive drama- a rare feat.
“It was a lot of fun and an amazing experience,” Paxton said, talking about the FBLA finish. “It took a lot of hard work and research.”
FBLA nationals are in Chicago June 29-July 2 and the National Speech & Debate Tournament is in Dallas June 14-19.
“This has been a really successful year for us,” Paxton said, “but hopefully, we’re not done!”
