If you have a student who will attend kindergarten in the Independence School District next fall, we have a wonderful educational opportunity to share with you.  Through a grant called the Missouri Preschool Project, the ISD is adding three early education classrooms at the Santa Fe Trail annex.  This opportunity to apply is open to students who live anywhere in the ISD, however you would need to provide your child’s transportation to the Santa Fe Trail annex (1301 Windsor St, Independence, MO 64055).  Each class will be taught by a highly trained, certified teacher to promote kindergarten readiness.  If this sounds like the ideal opportunity to give your child a boost as he or she heads to kindergarten next fall, please contact us today as spots are filling up fast.  Doors open October 1st. This is a full day program from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.  You can see the sliding fee scale below.  Wrap around services will be offered to extend that day from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. for an additional $105.  This is for families not currently enrolled in ISD early education programs. Please contact Santa Fe Trail Elementary at 816-521-5450 to apply.
