Van Horn Industrial Technology Students Make Flags for Veterans

Van Horn High School Industrial Technology students crafted 49 wooden United States flags to gift to veterans living at the Veterans Community Project Village in Kansas City. Students then toured the village of tiny homes and learned about ways the Veterans Community Projects supports veterans. William Chrisman High School and Truman High School will contribute flags in future years, and the ISD will gift a combined 150 flags to veterans annually.
