The Independence School District has been working hard to update our school infrastructure and create safe and inspiring environments for our students through the 2021 ISD Bond. Improvements include safety and security upgrades, auditorium renovations, updated sports facilities, and more.

“We couldn’t do anything as a school district without the support of the community,” says Board of Education Director Greg Finke. “Having the high percentage of affirmation on those particular projects really says to us, ‘Hey, you’re doing the right things.’” 

“We have to keep everything up to par on technology to make sure that going into the future that these schools remain technologically safe,” says Board of Education Vice President Blake Roberson.
