The Independence School District prioritizes the safety of our students and staff. The district utilizes many strategies to ensure our students have a secure and nurturing environment to thrive.
“Our district citizens and parents expect ISD to be the safest of the safe,” says Board of Education Director Blake Roberson. “We have to do that, we want to do that, and we are doing that.”
“Any way that we can make those kids feel safe and be safe is only going to improve their ability to learn and retain,” says Board of Education Director Denise Fears.
