Fifth-Day Opportunities
The Independence School District is providing meaningful opportunities for students on the Mondays when school is not in session.
This includes free programming and the ISD’s partnership with Metropolitan Community College (MCC). Enrollment in elementary enrichment programming can be paired with Kids’ Safari Childcare to provide a full day of care. (Visit ISDschools.org/KidsSafari for pricing.) Kids’ Safari runs 6:30AM – 6PM at combined school sites.
This catalog provides an overview of the programming available to ISD students at every Monday combined school site. Additional programming specific to each location may also be available depending on teacher availability and student interest. Information will be shared by email.
